Description
Nintendo Color TV Game 15 orange complete WOW!!! extremely rare 1st generation Nintendo color TV game 15 model CTG-15V in working condition tested 100%.This as is old school as gaming itself can be.....Very hard to find  in the world let alone on Ebay I have never seen one before in Japan! If you are outside Japan the channel has to be set to channel 95 or 96 on your TV and the video 1 or 2 switch on the game system has to find the reception to match channel 95 or 96...in Japan it works on older TVs on channels 1 or 2...remember this!!! In rare cases some TVs don't work on those channels!!!This gem includes the box....after being released some 31 years ago the box is in good shape despite some fading and scrapes the year 1977 is clearly seen on the above photo....The underside of the unit has a battery compartment that can use 6 C size batteries..very clean terminal contacts and ZERO corrosion of acid on underside.....I have included the ultra rare AC adapter that did not come with the unit made by Nintendo..I repeat did not come with....!The RF switch is the original component that came with this unit Nintendo brand..it is in working order!is clean has scrapes not a mint or excellent shape item but still very good!  Own apart of Nintendo history...don't pass up on this rare unit impress your friends with this 1st generation Nintendo that unit  inspired the Famicom and Super Famicon...the NES and SNES respectively!Payment expected up to 1 day after auctionends ....if you can't pay in that time frame email me BEFORE BIDDING!!!!Ships to USA for $45 with EMS with tracking number and insurance....$55 ships world wide the same conditions as above...I myself will pack the unit very well with foam wrapping and thick paper and then re-box the package! The Color TV Game series is a series of home dedicated consoles released by Nintendo. In 1978, Nintendo released the Color TV Game 15. With the two controllers now on cables (making for much more comfortable play) and 15 slightly different versions of Light Tennis, the CTG 15 sold over a million units. In the same year, Nintendo released the Color TV Racing 112, a bird's-eye-view racing game that implemented a steering wheel and gearshift. Alternatively, two smaller controllers could be used for multiplayer.Hot on the heals of its successful debut in the home console market, Nintendo released the Color TV Game 15 in 1978. The Color TV Game 15 console featured a more powerful processor, which allowed Nintendo to cram 15 variations of Pong into the console. Well, sort of. There were really just five different Pong games, three of which had an A version and a B version. Four of these games also had a singles version and a doubles version. So with lots of double counting, Nintendo stretched five "unique" games into fifteen. Like its predecessor, the Color TV Game 15 was wildly popular in Japan topping the million-seller threshold. Shigeru Miyamoto, the father of the Mario and Zelda franchises, was hired by Nintendo in 1977. Legend has it that Miyamoto's first project at Nintendo was to design the casing for the Color TV 15. Not only did Miyamoto change the color from yellow to tangerine orange, but he added detachable controllers providing the players with some much needed elbow room when playing head-to-head.T
