15 Mother-of-Pearl Gaming/Gambling Pieces, Unique Start Price USD 75.00 Current Price USD 75.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Sunday, October 05, 2008 End Time Sunday, October 12, 2008 Location Cadillac, Michigan See more about '15 Mother-of-Pearl Gaming/Gambling Pieces, Unique' Description I am selling a lot of 15 Mother-of-Pearl Gaming/Gambling Pieces.  There are10 rectangles 2 1/4 X 5/8 inches.   They are scrimshawed or carved beautifully with floral designs and borders on each side.  One of them has a decorative edge.  One has a small indentation.  There are three 1 1/4 inch in diameter circles; two have floral design and one has birds on one side.  Then there are 2 ovals, one is 1 1/2 inch long and the other is 2 1/2 inch long with a crease on it.   Four of the pieces have a small ( 1/4 inch) round felt like dot on the back.  I don't know the significance of this - protection????.  I have not tried to remove them.  These originally sold for $220.  I bought them from a reputable gemologist/jeweler because they were so unique and beautiful.  However, I am downsizing my collections due to age and will offer these with a low starting bid.  Thanks for looking.  I tried to take a close up picture but my camera could not pick up the delicate designs.
