According to the Mr. Pinball® Price Guide there were 6,000 units produced. The game was designed by Tony Kramer with art work by Christian Marche (who apparently had the movie poster in front of him, see below...). Disco Fever was the fourth Solid State game produced by Williams and the second to feature electronic sound.Probably the most famous (or infamous depending on your point of view) feature of Disco Fever were its "banana flippers".  Only two Williams games were ever produced with these wild flippers, Disco Fever and Time Warp.  I personally think they're a lot of fun! This Machine was my Grandfathers. I remember it used to work great just a few years ago but since his wife died he stored it away. This year when we plugged it in to try it out, all the lights turned on but when we put a quarter in to start the game nothing happened. We have had no time to fix it, and were hoping it will go to someone who will take good care of it and cherish is like my grandfather did.
